"ESPY Awards" Tonight at 9 on ESPN. Top sports performers and performances are honored at the 18th annual event in Los Angeles. Seth Meyers hosts. Honorees include the Ed Thomas family of Parkersburg, Iowa, who receive the Arthur Ashe Courage Award for forgiving the former player who murdered the town's long-time football coach.
"Ghost Hunters International" Tonight at 9 on Syfy. The team visits Nottingham, England, to probe paranormal claims linked to the Galleries of Justice, where numerous executions and incidents of torture were carried out.
"CSI: NY" Tonight at 10 on CBS. A legendary racer (Antonio Sabato Jr.) dies when his car explodes on a New York street just two days before a big race. The probe reveals the car was tampered with and that he was murdered. Suspicion falls on his leading competitor (Danica Patrick).
"Chasing Mummies" Tonight at 10 on History. A series following archaeologist Zahi Hawass and his team during excavations in Egypt opens with a dig at the Step Pyramid of Djoser, Egypt's oldest stone pyramid.
"Psych" Tonight at 10 on USA. In the Season 5 opener, Shawn and Gus look for the missing daughter of a Chinese crime boss, whose organization is feuding with another Triad.
