"Vampire Diaries" Tonight at 8 on The CW. Katherine reveals to Stefan secrets about what really happened in 1864 when she turned him into a vampire. Meanwhile, Damon tries to resolve his conflict with Mason, and Tyler attempts to get Mason to tell him the truth about the Lockwoods' dark past.

"Bones" Tonight at 8 on Fox. A surprise visit by Booth's girlfriend, war correspondent Hannah Burley (Katheryn Winnick), forces Brennan to take another look at her relationship with Booth. Meanwhile, the team tries to identify a couple whose remains were found in a cave in a national park.

Ken Burns' follow-up to "Baseball" concludes with a look at dominating pitchers like Pedro Martinez; Japan's first MLB star, Ichiro Suzuki; the comfort provided by the game after the 9/11 attacks; revelations about performance-enhancing drugs; the Red Sox-Yankees rivalry; and Boston's World Series victory.

"Monday Night Football:Packers at Bears" Tonight at 8:30 on ESPN. Green Bay (2-0) at Chicago (2-0) in the teams' 180th meeting. The Packers are coming off their first season sweep of Chicago since 2003. Nick Collins had two of Green Bay's 6 INTs of Jay Cutler, while Bears RB Matt Forte was held to 123 total yards.

"Teenage Paparazzo" Tonight at 9 on HBO. "Entourage" star Adrian Grenier explores the public's obsession with the private lives of celebrities not only by filming an adolescent whose passion is photographing the rich and famous, but by picking up a camera and joining the hunt for himself. The film includes remarks by actors, journalists and scholars.

"Chase" Tonight at 10 on NBC. A case involving the murder of a state trooper's son puts the team on the trail of fugitive Eduardo "El Lobo" Lopez (Robert LaSardo), whom they discover is on the lookout for a couple who are believed to be holding something he is desperate to regain.

"Weeds" Tonight at 10 on Showtime. To retrieve her kidnapped son, Nancy has a showdown with Cesar in a Skee-Ball museum. Meanwhile, Andy and Silas anxiously await word at a nearby diner and contemplate offering her assistance, not knowing that Shane and Doug are currently under Ignacio's watchful eye at the same eatery.

"Castle" Tonight at 10:01 on ABC. Castle and Beckett hunt for a psychic's murderer while debating the validity of her profession. Then they receive a letter from the victim written the day of her death predicting her demise, but it could be the work of the killer.

"The Simpsons" Tonight at 8 on Fox. In the 22nd-season premiere, Lisa goes to a performing-arts camp, which sparks her creative fire. Lea Michele, Cory Monteith and Amber Riley from "Glee" lend their voices to Lisa's fellow campers, while Jemaine Clement and Bret McKenzie ("Flight of the Conchords") give voice to her counselors.

"Sunday Night Football:Jets at Dolphins" Tonight at 8:15 on NBC. New York Jets (1-1) at Miami (2-0). The Dolphins are coming off their first sweep of the Jets since 2003. Ronnie Brown ran for TDs to open and close a 31-27 win at home, while 3 TDs by defense and special teams keyed a 30-25 win on the road.

"Amazing Race 17" Tonight at 8:30 on CBS. The 17th edition of the reality series begins in Gloucester, Mass., and the 11 teams then fly from Boston to London. The pair to finish first on the initial leg receive a surprise reward that gives them a potential game-changing advantage.

"Cleveland Show" Tonight at 8:30 on Fox. Season 2 opener: Cleveland takes struggling rapper Kenny West (voice of Kanye West) under his wing, and the song they write ("Be-Cleave in Yourself") becomes a hit, making Kenny---but not Cleveland---a star.

"Desperate Housewives" Tonight at 9 on ABC. Season 7 opens with Vanessa Williams joining the cast as Lynette's rich friend Renee Perry, who makes an unexpected visit. And Paul Young (Mark Moses) returns with his new wife after his release from prison, and they move into Susan's old house. Meanwhile, Susan is offered a job by the manager (Lainie Kazan) of the apartment building where she and Mike now live; the newly single Bree is tempted by her handyman (Brian Austin Green); and Carlos and Gaby are keeping secrets from each other.

"Dexter" Tonight at 9 on Showtime. Season 5 opens with Dexter dealing with the aftermath of Rita's murder and making a decision that will impact many of those in his circle of friends, relatives and coworkers. Meanwhile, Quinn concludes that Rita's death doesn't match Trinity's MO, and steps up to help Debra in a time of trouble.

"Bored to Death" Tonight at 10 on HBO. In the Season 2 premiere, Jonathan begins teaching a writing class at night school, but continues to moonlight as a private detective when a mounted police officer (Lenny Venito) hires him to scrub his name from the client list of an S&M dungeon that's about to be raided. "PGA Tour Golf Playoff:Tour Championship" Today at 12 on NBC. Third-round play in the $7.5 million Tour Championship at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta. The field is limited to the top 30 players for the final event of the PGA Tour's FedExCup playoffs. The overall winner following this event receives a $10 million annuity.

"College Football:Stanford at Notre Dame" Today at 3:30 on NBC. Stanford at Notre Dame. QB Andrew Luck leads the Cardinal against QB Dayne Crist and the Irish. Stanford ran all over the Irish in last year's meeting, winning 45-38 and ending a seven-game losing streak to Notre Dame. The Irish lead the overall series 17-7.

"What the Pope Knew" Tonight at 8 on CNN. Gary Tuchman investigates why Pope Benedict XVI, as then-Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger, opposed and/or delayed the defrocking of some priests alleged to have molested children.

"Up in the Air" Tonight at 8 on HBO. Ryan Bingham (George Clooney) works for a company that specializes in firing people, and he's forced to take a newcomer named Natalie (Anna Kendrick) along on a business trip in order to show her firsthand what he does. Along the way, Ryan begins to reflect on his lonely life and develops a relationship with fellow frequent flyer Alex Goran (Vera Farmiga). Directed by Jason Retiman. Jason Bateman.

"The Hurt Locker" Tonight at 8 on Showtime. Jeremy Renner heads the cast of this Oscar-winning war drama about a trio of soldiers who specialize in dismantling improvised explosive devices in Baghdad. These three members of the Explosive Ordnance Disposal squad must put their fear and their personal beefs aside to keep themselves from going to "the hurt locker," the nickname soldiers have for where you recuperate after being injured in an explosion. Kathryn Bigelow's direction and Mark Boal's screenplay also won Oscars.

"Sharktopus" Tonight at 9 on Syfy. A scientist (Eric Roberts) working for the military develops a monstrous shark-octopus hybrid, which goes on a killing spree on the resort beaches of Mexico after the mechanism that controls the beast is accidentally destroyed.

"Saturday Night Live" Tonight at 11:29 on NBC. The late-night laugher kicks off its 36th season with Amy Poehler serving as host and Katy Perry taking the stage as music guest. Vanessa Bayer, Paul Brittain, Taran Killam and Jay Pharoah join the cast as featured players.

"College Football:TCU at SMU" Tonight at 8 on ESPN. TCU at SMU in an intrastate clash for the Iron Skillet. The Horned Frogs fell behind 7-0 last season before smashing SMU 39-14 for their ninth win in the last 10 meetings. Senior DE Wayne Daniels leads TCU's chase of Mustangs QB Kyle Padron.

"CSI: NY" Tonight at 9 on CBS. The seventh season begins with new team member Jo Danville (Sela Ward) discovering the body of a young woman who was murdered somewhere in the New York crime-lab building.

"Supernatural" Tonight at 9 on The CW. The sixth season begins with Sam being released from hell and trying to convince Dean to rejoin him in fighting evil. To help persuade him, Sam introduces Dean to a new family led by their grandfather Samuel (Mitch Pileggi).

"Fish Hooks" Tonight at 9 on Disney. The animated series about three fish, Milo, Oscar and Bea, in high school begins with Bea hosting a girls-only party, and Milo and Oscar sneaking in dressed as girls. But they soon regret it. Next, Milo ventures outside of the fish tank wearing a special land suit, but he soon gets into trouble.

"Blue Bloods" Tonight at 10 on CBS. A New York crime drama focusing on a multigenerational family of cops headed by the city's police commissioner (Tom Selleck). In the opener, the youngest son graduates from the police academy. Meanwhile, his older brother investigates a girl's kidnapping and is accused of using excessive force to solve the case.

"Outlaw" Tonight at 10 on NBC. Garza and his crew journey to Arizona to tackle a controversial, politically explosive immigration case involving a police shooting. Elsewhere, Mereta mulls over making moves on Garza. Ed Begley Jr. guest stars.

"30 Rock" Tonight at 8:30 on NBC. Season 5 opens with Jack interfering with Liz's blooming romance with Carol (Matt Damon) in an effort to help her finally win a man's heart. There's give-and-take in Jack's own love life when Avery revamps his apartment. Meanwhile, Tracy copes with Kenneth's termination as NBC page, and Jenna emerges as a new "TGS" producer.

"$#*! My Dad Says" Tonight at 8:31 on CBS. The premiere of the sitcom based on Justin Halpern's popular Twitter feed about the outrageous observations of his politically incorrect father. In the opener, the grumpy dad (William Shatner) invites his son (Jonathan Sadowski) to move back home after the young man loses his job as a writer for a men's magazine.

"CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" Tonight at 9 on CBS. The 11th season begins with Ray fighting for his life after being stabbed by serial killer Nate Haskell. "Undercovers" Tonight at 8 on NBC. Married former spies Steven and Samantha Bloom (Boris Kodjoe and Gugu Mbatha-Raw) reenter the world of espionage to track down a friend and fellow agent (Carter MacIntyre), who disappeared while on the trail of an arms dealer, in the series premiere. The pair find that their globe-spanning mission reignites their passion for the job and for each other.

"Criminal Minds" Tonight at 9 on CBS. The sixth-season opener concludes the team's search for the serial killer who is terrorizing Los Angeles and who now has Los Angeles detective Spicer's daughter as his hostage.

"Modern Family" Tonight at 9 on ABC. In the second-season premiere, Phil reluctantly agrees to get rid of the Dunphy station wagon, which prompts a wave of nostalgia for the old car. Meanwhile, Cameron enlists Jay's help when Mitchell tries to build a princess castle for Lily; and Manny asks a girl to come over to study.

"Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" Tonight at 9 on NBC. In the 12th-season opener, a 10-year-old girl runs away and is found with a man (Henry Ian Cusick) who denies any wrongdoing. That same man then helps detectives with a rape case involving another young girl, but he pushes the limits with his assistance.

"Cougar Town" Tonight at 9:31 on ABC. In the second-season premiere, Jules finds the bond with her new psychiatrist (Jennifer Aniston) tested when she learns the truth behind her treatment methods. Meanwhile, Bobby struggles to face the fact that Jules and Grayson are a couple; and Ellie is envious of Jules' relationship with her doctor.

"The Defenders" Tonight at 10 on CBS. Two charismatic defense lawyers, Nick (Jim Belushi) and Pete (Jerry O'Connell), represent a variety of clients in Las Vegas. In the opener, the guys defend a young man accused of murder who rejects a lenient plea bargain in order to face a jury. Meanwhile, the firm's newest associate, a former exotic dancer, begins work and represents a teen accused of kidnapping.

"The Whole Truth" Tonight at 10 on ABC. A legal drama that follows cases from both sides stars Maura Tierney as prosecutor Kathryn Peale and Rob Morrow as defense lawyer Jimmy Brogan, her friend and law-school classmate. In the opener, a high-school teacher is charged with killing a student with whom he had been in frequent contact. In fact, Peale claims he had been stalking her. But she's worried that Brogan knows something she doesn't. "He's too smart," she says, "to take on a case he didn't think he could win."

"Glee" Tonight at 8 on Fox. Season 2 begins with more budget cuts looming and the glee kids reeling from their loss at Regionals. There are new members to recruit, including Sunshine Corazon (Charice) and Sam (Chord Overstreet), but Rachel and Finn don't see eye to eye on them. Meanwhile, McKinley High has a new football coach, Shannon Beiste (Dot Marie Jones), who immediately shows herself to be a threat to both the glee club and the Cheerios.

"Biggest Loser" Tonight at 8 on NBC. In the Season 10 premiere, Bob and Jillian lead community-wide fitness challenges in seven cities as part of the season's "Pay It Forward" theme. During the tests, three contestants from each city compete to win a spot on the ranch.

"NCIS: Los Angeles" Tonight at 9 on CBS. In the second-season opener, an agent vanishes while on an assignment, and the team, along with new liaison Marty Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen), works with the LAPD in a case involving human trafficking in order to find the agent.

"Raising Hope" Tonight at 9 on Fox. In the premiere of this comedy about a new addition to an extended dysfunctional family, 23-year-old Jimmy Chance (Lucas Neff) adjusts to life as a single father following a fling with a violent criminal (Bijou Phillips), but he has some difficulty convincing his parents to take in another mouth to feed.

"Warehouse 13" Tonight at 9 on Syfy. The team chases after an artifact that is more dangerous than they originally thought; Pete's feelings for Kelly are put to the test; Claudia talks to Artie about her future, in the second-season finale.

"Sons of Anarchy" Tonight at 10 on FX. Needing money for guns to keep the Mayans at bay, SAMCRO reaches out to Lyla (Winter Ave Zola) to help Lin with his "party" for clients. Opie has trouble with the idea. Meanwhile, Jax hears that Cameron Hayes is in Vancouver; and Tara visits Gemma, who is having her hands full with her dad (Hal Holbrook) and his caregiver (Monique Gabriela Curnen).

"Detroit 1-8-7" Tonight at 10:01 on ABC. The drama about Detroit homicide detectives opens with the veteran Fitch (Michael Imperioli) and his new partner Washington(Jon Michael Hill) investigating a double homicide at a pharmacy. "The Event" Tonight at 9 on NBC. The series about a spectacular conspiracy gets underway with everyman Sean Walker (Jason Ritter) looking into the disappearance of his girlfriend Leila (Sarah Roemer) from a Caribbean cruise. In other events, the president (Blair Underwood), over the objections of his National Intelligence director (Željko Ivanek), plans to announce he's releasing a group of detainees.

"Mike & Molly" Tonight at 9:30 on CBS. Teacher Molly Flynn and Chicago police officer Mike Biggs fall in love when, in the opener, they meet at an Overeaters Anonymous meeting and Molly invites Mike to speak to her fourth-grade class about his job.

"Hawaii Five-0" Tonight at 10 on CBS. An elite task force probes high-level crimes in this reboot of the classic series. In the opener, decorated naval officer Steve McGarrett (Alex O'Loughlin) investigates his father's murder and is persuaded by the governor to head up a new police squad that answers directly to her.

"All American Handyman" Tonight at 9 on HGTV. Twenty handymen receive their first challenge to earn a spot as a Top 10 finalist in the premiere of this competition series. The challenge requires them to build an item of their choosing, but judges Mike Holmes and Scott McGillivray award higher points for tougher projects.

"Mel B: It's a Scary World" Tonight at 9 on Style. The life of former Spice Girl Melanie Brown is chronicled. In the series opener, Mel considers singing with the Pussycat Dolls and questions whether she should attend the "Shrek Forever After" premiere.

The comedy legend's 45th annual fund-raiser for muscular-dystrophy research, telecast from Las Vegas with local segments telecast on "Love Network" stations. "Penguins of Madagascar" This morning at 10 on Nickelodeon. Private must overcome his fear of roaches and team up with them in order to save his penguin pals who are trapped by an exterminator; one of the penguins' top-secret missions is observed by a kid on a field trip.

"College Football:Purdue at Notre Dame" Today at 3:30 on NBC. Purdue (5-7 in 2009) at Notre Dame (6-6) in the first game for new ND coach Brian Kelly. Last year, the Irish edged Purdue 24-21 in West Lafayette as Kyle Rudolph caught a TD pass with 25 seconds left. Purdue's Keith Smith caught 11 passes for 136 yards in the loss. Notre Dame leads the overall series 53-26-2.

"A Perfect Getaway" Tonight at 8 on HBO. An idyllic Hawaiian vacation turns into a nightmare when Cydney and Cliff (Milla Jovovich and Steve Zahn) discover their lives are in danger from a psychotic killer who is hunting visitors to the island. Timothy Olyphant, Chris Hemsworth, Kiele Sanchez. Directed by David Twohy.

"College Football:LSU vs. North Carolina" Tonight at 8:07 on ABC. LSU (9-4 last season) vs. North Carolina (8-5) in the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game in Atlanta. Corner Patrick Peterson is a standout on an inexperienced Tigers defense, while UNC has a veteran defensive unit led by end Robert Quinn. LSU has won five of six meetings with UNC.

"America's Most Wanted" Tonight at 9 on Fox. A recap of the 2009-10 season focuses on fugitives profiled who are still on the loose and viewer tips that led to captures. Featured fugitives include alleged Elizabeth, N.J., drug kingpin Luqman "Sheik" Abdullah; convicted Dallas sex offender Billy Twain Gibson; and the killer of 19-year-old Deontae Smith, who was shot to death during a melee at a Chicago block party in August 2009.

"Suze Orman Show" Tonight at 9 on CNBC. Viewer calls about family financial issues. Included: a son who wants his mom to be less dependent; a dad who hasn't given the wedding money he promised. Also: affording a Jaguar; buying a guitar.

"Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" Tonight at 10 on Cinemax. Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe) enters his sixth year at Hogwarts, while Lord Voldemort (Ralph Fiennes) prepares his followers for a battle intended to kill Harry and eradicate all non-pure-blooded wizards. "Smallville" Tonight at 8 on The CW. In the Season 9 finale, Zod claims to be the Blur and asks Lois to steal the Book of Rao from Clark; Lois asks Clark for full disclosure, but he refuses; Oliver disappears while he and Chloe attempt to fight the Kandorians by reconnecting Watchtower's satellites; Tess is seriously injured after confronting Zod; and Clark and Zod have a showdown as they battle for Earth.

"Human Target" Tonight at 8 on Fox. As the first season begins, Winston takes on an unlikely role to help Chance protect an unknown client---a pseudonymous computer hacker with potentially devastating information---from an unidentified assassin aboard a very unusual flight to Seattle.

"Vampire Diaries" Tonight at 8 on The CW. The first season concludes with a Founder's Day celebration that ends in destruction and death because of a plan set in motion by Johnathan Gilbert to kill all of the town's vampires. Meanwhile, Elena tries to repair her relationship with Jeremy, but he refuses to listen to her and considers Anna's offer to become a vampire.

"Project Runway" Tonight at 9 on Lifetime. The clothiers must reinvent bridesmaid dresses.

"American Chopper: Senior vs. Junior" Tonight at 9 on TLC. The guys at OCC build a bike for the Science Channel's "Meteorite Men." Later, a serious accident at Paul Jr. Designs prompts Sr. to finally put his differences with his sons aside and reach out to Jr. and Mikey.

"Futurama" Tonight at 10 on Comedy Central. A battle for mutants' rights pits Leela's underground army against the surface people. The series 100th episode features an appearance by the band Devo.
