"NBA Basketball:Celtics at Heat" Tonight at 8 on TNT. Boston at Miami. The Celtics cooled the Heat 88-80 on opening night, spoiling the debut of LeBron James and Chris Bosh in Miami uniforms. Rajon Rondo dished out 17 assists for Boston, while James and Dwyane Wade combined for 14 turnovers.
"30 Rock" Tonight at 8:30 on NBC. Jack rocks the vote, manipulating a congressional election to help a particular candidate (John Slattery), thereby leveraging advantage for the network. Meanwhile, a perfect pair of new jeans gives Liz confidence; Tracy organizes a Golden Globe event with Jenna's help.
"Wartorn 1861-2010" Tonight at 9 on HBO. Interviews with veterans, active-duty personnel and their families and letters from soldiers chronicle cases of combat-related post-traumatic stress disorder from the U.S. Civil War to the current conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan. Directed by Jon Alpert and Ellen Goosenberg Kent. James Gandolfini is executive producer.
"The Mentalist" Tonight at 10 on CBS. Jane is kidnapped, and the team examines his cases to find a suspect, only to realize almost everyone has a reason to hurt Jane.
"It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" Tonight at 10 on FX. Dee takes a job as a substitute teacher and decides to take her students on a field trip to Broadway. The principal (Dave Foley) won't allow that, so it's a screening of the gang's movie---"Lethal Weapon 5"---instead.
"Burn Notice" Tonight at 10 on USA. Michael tries to prevent a bombing arranged by a lawyer out for revenge against a local gang. Elsewhere, Michael and Jesse must track down a highly sensitive document that's been stolen.
