"College Football:Rutgers at South Florida" Tonight at 7 on ESPN2. Rutgers at South Florida in a Big East clash. The Scarlet Knights blanked USF 31-0 last year in one of seven shutouts since 2006 for Greg Schiano's squad. Senior LB Antonio Lowery anchors the pursuit of Bulls sophomore QB B.J. Daniels.

"Modern Family" Tonight at 9 on ABC. Phil is perplexed by a faulty smoke detector; Claire and Haley get sick at the same time; Gloria and Manny's surprise visit to Jay's workplace doesn't make his job any easier; Cameron can't resist trying to get Lily in a commercial.

"Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" Tonight at 9 on NBC. An environmentalist's body is found at an industrial laundry plant, and the investigation puts Benson and Stabler in danger. After more victims are uncovered, Benson unexpectedly reflects on her past while bonding with a victim's daughter (Maria Bello).

"Circus" Tonight at 9 on PBS. A look at life in the circus through the prism of the Big Apple Circus opens with "First of May," in which the entertainers and crew map out a new show for a 350-performance tour. "One Ring Family" continues with the first dress rehearsal raising tensions. Among the featured individuals are veteran and novice clowns; a trapeze act whose association with the circus may be in free fall; and ring crew whose members all seem to be seeking a fresh start in life.

"Biography" Tonight at 9 on BIO. The fictional captains of the "Star Trek" television franchise are profiled through clips, photographs and the comments of experts.

"LA Ink" Tonight at 10 on TLC. Kat's Wonderland Gallery opens, and she surprises everyone by showing up to the opening with a new boyfriend in tow.

"In the Spotlight With Robin Roberts: All Access Nashville" Tonight at 10:01 on ABC. Robin Roberts interviews Brad Paisley, LeAnn Rimes, Carrie Underwood and Miranda Lambert.
