"30 for 30" Tonight at 7 on ESPN. BMX star Mat Hoffman's high-flying career is documented in "The Birth of Big Air." Director Jeff Tremaine and co-producers Johnny Knoxville and Spike Jonze showcase Hoffman's love of the sport and relentless pursuit of record-breaking jumps and tricks.

"X Games:Skateboarding, Moto X" Tonight at 8 on ESPN. The 16th action-sports festival takes off in Los Angeles. Included: finals in skateboarding (big air) and Moto X (freestyle, men's and women's Super X). Host: Sal Masekela.

"CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" Tonight at 9 on CBS. The CSIs investigate when a Rascal Flatts band member is electrocuted by his guitar during a concert to determine whether it was an accident or foul play. The members of Rascal Flatts appear as themselves.

"Project Runway" Tonight at 9 on Lifetime. The style trials and garb barbs return when Season 8 opens with a new contingent of clothiers trying to cash in on fashion. New for Season 8: a 90-minute running time. Actress Selma Blair is the guest judge.

"Jersey Shore" Tonight at 10 on MTV. The cast heads to Miami in the Season 2 opener, and the drama quickly heats up when Ronnie upsets Samantha by flirting with other girls in the club.

"Royal Pains" Tonight at 10 on USA. Hank treats a childhood foe, testing his ability to put his aside his feelings and remain professional. Elsewhere, Evan plans Raj's bachelor party while Jill and Divya attend a bridal event in the city.

"On the Road With Austin & Santino" Tonight at 10:30 on Lifetime. Former "Project Runway" contestants Austin Scarlett and Santino Rice travel across the U.S. to design looks for everyday women celebrating life achievements. In the opener, a Texas trick rider needs an outfit to wear to an annual cowgirl ball.
