"Golden Globe Awards" Tonight at 8 on NBC. The Hollywood Foreign Press Association stages its 68th annual gala, which recognizes achievement in 25 movie and TV categories. Highlights include a tribute to Robert De Niro, who receives the Cecil B. DeMille Award. Ricky Gervais hosts from the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills. Slated presenters include Kevin Bacon, Helen Mirren, Kevin Spacey, Sandra Bullock, Matt Damon, Robert Downey Jr. and Bruce Willis.
"Desperate Housewives" Tonight at 9 on ABC. "Ted Haggard: Scandalous" Tonight at 10 on TLC. A profile of disgraced pastor Ted Haggard, the founder of Colorado's New Life Church who left the ministry in 2006 following a gay sex and drugs scandal. The former evangelical leader is followed as he attempts to start a new life and church.
