"America's Got Talent" Tonight at 9 on NBC. Four acts advance to the Top 24 in a results installment.

"American Masters" Tonight at 9 on PBS. "There are a lot of us that they called outlaws back in the beginning, but Merle was a real outlaw" says a laughing Kris Kristofferson in this penetrating profile of "the poet of the working man," Merle Haggard. The doc charts his rise from a hard-scrabble early life, including prison time, and the death of his father, to topping the country-music charts, and features a wealth of archival footage and remarks from Haggard, family and such friends as Kristofferson, Keith Richards and Tanya Tucker.

"Confessions: Animal Hoarding" Tonight at 9 on Animal Planet. A series chronicling the compulsions of people who own numerous animals as pets. The first episode profiles a woman who won't let her dogs out of the house and a man who lives with 30 cats.

"Fabulous Beekman Boys" Tonight at 9 on Plan. Green. The men's parents visit the farm for Thanksgiving, where they meet each other for the first time.

"Pros vs. Joes" Tonight at 10 on Spike. The NBA takes on the NFL as retired hoopsters Kenny Smith, Rick Fox and Hakeem Olajuwon face off against gridiron standouts Terrell Owens, Donovan McNabb and Antonio Gates. Included: a three-on-three basketball contest.

"Hot in Cleveland" Tonight at 10 on TV Land. The past becomes present when Melanie's mother (Shirley Knight) and Victoria's father (Hal Linden) pick the same weekend for a visit, while Joy is less than thrilled to see her mother (Juliet Mills).

"Castle" Tonight at 10:01 on ABC. A talk-show host (Tom Bergeron) dies hours after warning Castle of his impending fate, and Castle must convince Beckett that the death wasn't from natural causes. Meanwhile, Castle is charmed by a sexy actress (Kelly Carlson).
