"Hell's Kitchen" Tonight at 8 on Fox. Season 7 opener: The 16 chefs vying for a slot in chef Gordon Ramsay's restaurant in a London hotel are introduced, split into teams (men vs. women) and, for their first challenge, must prepare their signature dishes. Then comes dinner service. Chef Ramsay guarantees that it will be completed, and that means even more pressure than usual for the contestants, one of whom is eliminated.
"America's Got Talent" Tonight at 8 on NBC. The talent contest opens its fifth season with open auditions in Los Angeles. New judge Howie Mandel replaces David Hasselhoff and joins the arbiters' table with returnees Piers Morgan and Sharon Osbourne.
"Life Unexpected" Tonight at 9 on The CW. In the series opener, teenage Lux (Britt Robertson) attempts to leave the foster-care system and become an emancipated minor. She locates her birth parents (Shiri Appleby and Kristoffer Polaha) for the first time, then winds up in their custody. Ryan Thomas: Kerr Smith.
"Losing It With Jillian" Tonight at 10 on NBC. Trainer Jillian Michaels moves in with a Massachusetts family to help them change their unhealthy lifestyles in the premiere of this reality series. One member of the family had gastric-bypass surgery but has regained the weight, and another is planning to go under the knife for the same procedure. While working to change their fitness and nutrition habits, Jillian discovers an upsetting issue from the past that could play a role in the family's health woes.
"Justified" Tonight at 10 on FX. With Bo Crowder's meth operation ramping up, Art and Raylan try to enlist Arlo to infiltrate his gang. Boyd Crowder doesn't approve of his father's business, either. And Ava has a grudge of her own against Bo.
"Law & Order: Criminal Intent" Tonight at 10 on USA. A new murder fits the style of a serial killer who was executed months earlier. Stevens must figure out if the killing is a copycat crime or if she helped convict an innocent man. Lorraine Bracco guest stars.
