Medical correspondent Elizabeth Cohen relates stories of medical mistakes and missed diagnoses that have happened to her as a patient, the mother of a patient and the daughter of a patient. Also: actor and leukemia survivor Evan Handler on why he became an "empowered" patient.
"The Blind Side" Tonight at 8 on HBO. Sandra Bullock stars as Leigh Anne Touhy, a headstrong, wealthy Memphis woman who welcomes into her home Michael Oher, an emotionally traumatized African-American high-school student who turns out to be gifted at playing football. "The Princess and the Frog" Tonight at 9 on Starz. A prince is transformed into a frog and accidentally curses a beautiful princess (voice of Anika Noni Rose) with an amphibian form as well when he kisses her in an attempt to break the spell. The two then go a wild journey through the bayous of Louisiana in hopes of finding a voodoo priestess who may be able to restore their true forms. Other voices include Bruno Campos, John Goodman and Jenifer Lewis.
"Iconoclasts" Tonight at 9 on Sundance. In the Season 5 premiere, actress Charlize Theron joins anthropologist Jane Goodall in the wild to learn about primates.
"Pit Boss" Tonight at 10 on Animal Planet. Shorty mentors kids at the reform institution he attended before his 10-year stint in prison.
