September 14, 2010 *spoiler alert*

"Big Lake" Tonight at 6 on Comedy Central. Chris considers quitting teaching until he finds unlikely inspiration---Mrs. Franklin---but the nature of their relationship doesn't go over well with Josh.

"One Tree Hill" Tonight at 8 on The CW. In the eighth-season opener, Clay and Quinn face life-threatening injuries after being shot by Katie. Meanwhile, Nathan prepares for training camp in the wake of Haley's pregnancy news; and Brooke and Julian return from Utah newly engaged.

"Minute to Win It" Tonight at 8 on NBC. In the first-season finale, veterans of the Iraq War play the games, including the Sticky Balls challenge, in which the player must roll marbles across a table and onto double-sided tape.

"Life Unexpected" Tonight at 9 on The CW. In the second-season opener, Cate and Ryan are greeted with changes at work upon their return from their honeymoon. Elsewhere, Baze gets close with a new bartender; and Lux meets a guy who's new in town as she and Bug reach a turning point in their relationship.

"Covert Affairs" Tonight at 9 on USA. Annie poses as a potential recruit for smugglers in London. Elsewhere, Joan and Arthur must work with Henry Wilcox, a task that tests the chain of command.

"Wipeout" Tonight at 9:01 on ABC. Sweeper Trees, Moving Big Balls and an American Revolution-themed Spinner are among the obstacles faced by 24 police officers, firefighters, military personnel and civil servants in the third-season finale, a tribute to America's everyday heroes.

"Fashion's Night Out 2010" Tonight at 10 on CBS. Neil Patrick Harris hosts the second annual celebration that showcases fashions around the world. Industry luminaries Anna Wintour, Oscar de la Renta, Diane von Furstenberg, Tommy Hilfiger, Tory Burch and Justin Timberlake are among those appearing.
