"NBA Basketball:Heat at Knicks" Tonight at 7 on ESPN. Miami at New York. LeBron James and Dwyane Wade hit the Garden looking to extend Miami's five-game win streak over the Knicks. Amare Stoudemire and Chris Bosh star in the frontcourt.

"Yes, Virginia" Tonight at 8 on CBS. An 8-year-old girl (voice of Beatrice Miller) in 1897 New York tries to discover if Santa Claus actually exists and writes a letter to a newspaper editor (Alfred Molina) as a last resort to find the answer. Neil Patrick Harris and Jennifer Love Hewitt also lend their voices.

"Christmas in Washington" Tonight at 8 on TNT. Ellen DeGeneres hosts the 29th annual holiday gala from the National Building Museum in Washington, D.C. The slated roster of performers includes Mariah Carey, Miranda Cosgrove, Annie Lennox, Andrea Bocelli and Maxwell. Matthew Morrison ("Glee") is also featured. Attendees include the president and first lady, plus other Washington dignitaries. Recorded on Dec. 12, 2010.

"Blais Off" Tonight at 10 on Science Ch. Radical ideas for pizza bring the host to New York City in the opener of the series following culinary modernist Richard Blais as he attempts to reengineer traditional American dishes with help from science and technology.

"Sanctuary" Tonight at 10 on Syfy. The team goes to Tibet in search of the hidden city, which is rigged with deadly security measures; back at the Sanctuary, Adam admonishes Tesla and Druitt for letting Magnus go to the city without him.
